Avalon Model of Care

Currently, the path for rape survivors to find services is scattered, fragmented, confusing and often times re-victimizing. They are left having to navigate challenging & complicated systems that are not survivor-centered. The complex needs that survivors have that require different systems to be involved are located in different physical locations, involve interactions with individuals who have no training in the dynamics of sexual violence and ultimately only cause further harm, placing the burden on survivors to figure it all out on their own.

 

Avalon Healing Center is a one-of-a-kind, one stop shop for survivors of sexual violence. Our comprehensive services are offered in house, creating a path to healing that makes sense and is easy to navigate.
