A Season of Gratitude and Growth
As autumn comes to a close, we at Avalon Healing Center are filled with deep gratitude for the compassion and generosity of our community. This season, you reminded us once again that healing happens when we come together with purpose — and a cup of tea.
☕ A Heartfelt Thank You for Making Our Tea At AHC Fundraiser a Success!
On Wednesday, October 22, our community gathered for a beautiful afternoon of connection, reflection, and hope at our annual Tea at the AHC event. Together, we raised vital funds to support Avalon’s trauma-informed healing services — ensuring survivors of sexual assault and human trafficking receive the care and advocacy they deserve.
From delicate teas and delicious treats to moving survivor stories and music that lifted our spirits, it was a day that truly embodied Avalon’s mission: to heal, empower, and uplift.

Local businesses contributed generously to the event, with a delightful selection of teas and treats from MAAD House Teas, beautifully crafted charcuterie boxes from SweetSoul, and delicious bundtini cakes donated by Nothing Bundt Cakes. Guests enjoyed meaningful networking opportunities while our incredible staff shared highlights of our work and mission moments.

🌈 Our recent LGBTQIA Roundtable was a meaningful reminder of the strength that comes from community and open dialogue. The Roundtable brought together community providers to talk about community service access and how we can work together as a group to fill the gaps. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us, shared their voices, and helped nurture a space where all experiences were seen and valued.
